Space Disco Wizard

Space Disco Wizard joins Bristol and Delhi-based label Paradia for Boogietron 2084, a four-track EP built around cosmic disco, electro and Italo influences.

Behind the alias is Marcello “Cello” Giunchi, an Italian DJ and producer whose involvement in electronic music stretches back to the early 1990s and who has spent the past two decades embedded in Bangkok’s nightlife. Across Trabasco, Corner Burner, dung beetles gotta roll and the title track, warm analogue textures meet machine-driven rhythms and melodic synth work designed firmly with the dancefloor in mind.

The Bristol connection runs deeper than the label: the EP was also mastered by Optimum Mastering Bristol, while its distinctive artwork comes from Joel Williams.

A long-form cosmic excursion mixing Italo, electro and leftfield disco. Trabasco unfolds slowly across the dancefloor, offering an early look at the forthcoming Boogietron 2084 EP.
