Bristol producer PERSONAS returns to two tracks first made in 2012 under a different alias, rebuilding them with contemporary production while retaining their original foundations. TranZit began as a response to the zombies map in Call of Duty: Black Ops II, an influence the producer connects directly to its disorienting momentum.

Alongside Trek, it brings bass weight together with orchestral ambience and cinematic textures. That combination gives this release a more specific identity than a straightforward reissue: older ideas revisited through the sound PERSONAS has developed since. A fitting selection for Halloween week’s darker listening.

PERSONAS pairs S Calibur with Solar, setting orchestral drama against the bass weight of dubstep and grime. The first track takes inspiration from the soundtracks of the Soul Calibur games; its companion pares back the orchestration while keeping the tension. A distinctive idea for listeners drawn to cinematic arrangements in club music.

After appearing last week as an early preview, G Line has properly landed. Blunt 140 drums and dark grime pressure do most of the damage, while flashes of jazz and orchestral thinking give the track a character beyond straightforward soundsystem functionality.
